Eastern Long Island is rural, farm country, and unlike Western Long Island is much like New England and areas to our North. There is easy access to the North via Cross Sound Ferry which goes between Orient Point and New London CT. Travel to New York City and Western Long Island is via the Long Island Expressway (Route 495).
